Prosperity Press

Your inside scoop of what's happening in Próspera these days.

Hey Prosperians!

We're breaking into your inbox with a special edition of The Prosperity Press today. With Honduras' elections happening this Sunday, our CEO wanted to share some important thoughts with the community about what's ahead and how we're thinking about it at Próspera.

Your regular monthly update is still coming at the beginning of December – consider this a quick but crucial pause to address the moment we're in.

Dear Prósperians,

As we head into election weekend in Honduras, I want to share a clear update so everyone feels informed and supported.

Elections in Honduras can sometimes bring an unpredictable environment, particularly in major cities on the mainland. Our security team has been monitoring guidance from international institutions, including the U.S. Embassy, which notes the possibility of demonstrations, road blockages, or temporary disruptions in those areas. You can review their most recent public alerts here:
https://hn.usembassy.gov/category/alert/

To be precise: these scenarios refer to the mainland, not Roatán. The island—and Próspera specifically—has historically remained calm during national events. Our security protocols are strong, our risk management is proactive, and we do not anticipate any change to normal operations.

That said, if you plan to travel outside the island this weekend, stay aware of your surroundings and use good judgment. If you have any questions or concerns, our Security and Operations teams are fully available. We're monitoring the situation closely. If anything changes, you'll hear from us immediately.

But beyond the logistics, here's what I want you to remember this weekend:
One election does not make or break our mission. We are bigger than one election. We are stronger than one election.

No outcome—in any direction—changes the world-transformational importance of what we're building. We are creating a model where anyone, in any country, regardless of their upbringing or circumstances, is given the conditions to flourish. That vision doesn't depend on who wins on Sunday.

We've weathered uncertainty before. We've built through skepticism, through opposition, through moments when the path forward wasn't clear. And we're still here, still growing, still proving the model works.

History is on our side. The arc of progress bends toward what we're building—toward more freedom, more opportunity, more human potential unlocked.

So this weekend, don't let rumors, gossip, or online chatter unsettle you. Stay grounded in what you know to be true about what we're doing here and why it matters.

Próspera is unstoppable.

Onwards for Liberty and Prosperity!

Core Values of a Prosperian

Grit isn't what defines a Prosperian, but it's what we had to adopt because the world told us our vision was impossible. What's truly core to us is something deeper: the unshakeable belief that you can create what doesn't yet exist, simply because you see a different possibility. The conviction that your agency matters more than others' expectations.

Agustín López Pacheco understood this intuitively. Born in Siguatepeque in 1938, affected by polio since childhood, with no formal education or financial resources, he decided he would fly—literally. From his humble workshop in Barrio San Antonio, he collected scrap metal, tubes, and discarded parts to build his own helicopter. "For everyone, it's been a source of mockery," he said in an interview that later caught Coldplay's attention. "Because everyone thinks it's impossible, that it's crazy." They immortalized his voice in their 2019 album Everyday Life, and suddenly his words reached millions. He never achieved sustained flight, but he did get off the ground.

When Agustín passed away in 2017, his unfinished helicopter stood abandoned and rusting, until now. It stands in Próspera's first building as a monument to what he always knew: impossible dreams fly. Grit got him there, but it was his resolve—his quiet refusal to accept the world's definition of possible—that made him a symbol worth remembering. At Próspera, we honor that same spirit. Grit is what we learned along the way. The deeper conviction about our mission is what defines us.
